This weekend is Mothers Day and what better way to tell mom you care than to drag her to an indie film shoot. Thats right local independent comedy feature [NOT ANOTHER TOLKIEN MOVIE] is in need of extras Saturday, May 10 from 2 to 3 p.m. and Sunday, May 11 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Saturday afternoons shoot will be at the AV Imports [6450 Dobbin Road, Suite G , Columbia]. The scene is a morning talk show. The crowd will be outside the shows window on the world stereotypical rabid fans and gawkers casually dressed folks with posters and the whatnot. We will provide the posters. Click on the address above to get directions to AV Imports.

Sunday mornings shoot will be at the Senator Theatre [5904 York Road, Baltimore]. The scene is a movie screening at a film festival. The crowd should look like the stereotypical film fest crowd younger 20-somethings dressed casually and older folks dressed pretentiously black clothes, possibly turtlenecks that sort of thing. Our hope is to get some individual audience interviews, nothing too big a line or two. We will provide the script.

NOT ANOTHER TOLKIEN MOVIE follows an independent filmmaker who teams up with an infomercial guru to produce a low, low-budget adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkiens "The Lord of the Rings." The result---bad acting, temperamental crew members, focus groups, lawsuits, awkward product placements, and an untimely death--- is a spoof of movies, movie making and movies about movie making.
