I don't know if you've seen this, but JVC is to introduce the world's first prosumer hi-def camcorder. It will record MPEG-2 on standard miniDV cassettes at 720p... Although not at 24 frames like the new Panasonic, that can be done in post with various packages.

i spoke with a guy who has:

(1) 8mm camera and
(1) 8mm projector

and

(1) 16 mm camera
(1) 16 mm projector

could be useful to us to purchase.
