It's called Musical Chairs and the idea is to recruit 3-5 musicians to come together each week and to sit in together for a night of experimental improv. Generally I want to try and put a few people in the room together who haven't played together before or at least are not in a band together currently (though this isn't a requirement by any means) and let them explore and be creative.

So what did you think of this year's MD Film Fest?

I had a good time, and found many interesting screenings to attend this year... as opposed to last year where I only caught one screening (ouch!).

I think this year the Film Fest was dominated by documentaries. I watched 3 documentaries in total: The Gift, American Eunuchs and Capturing the Friedmans.
